Why should I book using this website?

By booking using this website you are dealing directly with the accommodation provider, which gives you more control over your booking. You will get a discount on your room rates and will allocate the room you want.

What is the earliest I can Check-in?

Earliest is 12.00pm (ring us) - Standard check-in time is 2.00pm.

Can I arrive late?

Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 8.00pm.

What time is reception open?

Reception is open from 8.00am to 8.00pm 7 days a week.

Do you have undercover parking?

Yes, every room has undercover parking.

Do you have trailer or truck parking available?

Yes we do. Please contact us to make arrangement prior to arrival.

Do you serve breakfast or dinner?

Unfortunately no. Our restaurant is closed for meal service sorry.

Are your rooms non-smoking?

Yes, all rooms at Tropic Motel are non-smoking.

Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?

Yes. Free WIFI for all guests.

Do you have an outdoor entertainment area?

Yes, we have an undercover BBQ terrace area.

Do you still have Sunday Sessions?

Unfortunately no. The last Sunday Session was held in February 2025.

How close are you to the shops?

Walking distance to local shops and 3 minutes drive to Canelands Shopping Centre.

How close are you to restaurants?

Walking distance to restaurants. Opposite to Shamrock Hotel. We are also within 2-5 minutes by car of number of restaurants and fast food outlets including Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds, Subway, Hungry Jacks and Red Rooster

Do you have Netflix?

Yes.

Do you sell drinks?

Yes, from reception.

Do you have Foxtel?

No, we don't.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to check in date and time. Cancellations received less than 24 hours, the full amount for the first cancelled night will be charged.

How do I guarantee my booking?

Credit card details are required to secure room booking or a $200 cash bond.

Do you accept locals?

Yes, as long as they have valid ID and a credit/debit card plus a $200 refundable bond on satisfactory post-stay room inspection.

Do you have a gym?

No. However, Evoke Fitness is a gym open 24/7 located 3 doors down from us.
